Ciara Wilson, More Than A Singer

The House of LR&C has launched off to redefine the way the fashion industry works by Russell and Ciara Wilson. If you know anything about these two extraordinary people, they are in the lead, not only in the sports and entertainment industry, but in making our world a more purposeful and inclusive place.

Ciara Wilson is known as an American singer and songwriter, dancer, model and actress. To say the least, she is multi-talented. She is married to Russell Wilson, football quarterback for the Denver Broncos, and they have 3 children. She is also known for her philanthropist work and entrepreneurship.

The House of LR&C, which stands for “Love, Respect and Care”, is a new clothing line which was announced in 2020 by Russell and Ciara. The focus is on making a difference in the world by creating this fashion line and prioritizing people and the planet. 3% of every purchase is donated to a foundation Russell Wilson created back in 2014, Why Not You, which is a nonprofit helping to empower today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders. This powerful couple has a story, and I am forever inspired by Ciara and her heart. She is giving, stunning, empowering and unstoppable. She not only sings but models what it means to level up. She lives by what she speaks.

When being interviewed by Moguls Magazine, Ciara said,

“As we get older, it’s important for us to help hand back some of what we’ve gained as we’ve grown older. It should be one of your responsibilities - it’s almost like being a mentor.”

Everything Ciara and Russell do today falls back on their belief and core values. When you have very little to nothing on a monetary level, you still have an intellect and a mind. You have a heart and emotions. You have free will and personal choice. You may not be able to quite yet execute a multi-million dollar company, but you have goals, dreams and ideas, which are worthy to be pursued. I love and back up what Ciara said in an interview with SELF

“I really believe that in order to get to where you want to get to in life, you got to envision it, you got to speak it, you got to plan it, and you got to write it down. I believe in those affirmations.”

The power is in first seeing internally. We must receive a download in our mind; a vision for our life. Then we need to speak it out in order to believe in it. Our faith in ourselves and the vision needs to be activated. Write it down and see it with your own eyes every day. All of our being must accept this internal reality before it becomes externally visible. Lastly, you got to plan for it. A lot goes into the planning portion, and every idea requires its own attention, but without preparing some kind of plan, you are setting yourself up for failure. There are some simple yet crucial steps when it comes to bringing an idea forth.

You may see yourself as an ordinary person who loves their job and day-to-day life, but I am convinced, every human is positioned on this earth to be purposeful during their time being. We are given one life and the way you shoot determines the legacy you will leave. Can I inspire you to shoot well and far? You are born with greatness in your DNA and even if the generations prior to you were wasteful of their time and lacked living a purposeful life, it does not mean you need to follow their footsteps. You can change the trajectory of your future and become known for the right things by simply shifting your mental focus.

Our world is a better place with you in it. You can make a difference starting today.
